Blinking Guitar Picks, Surfboards & Beach Party Flashbacks
(photo:www.sclw.net)I was watching one of those early 60's surf movies recently, with Frankie and Annette. The band scenes were loaded with Fender gear; Strats, basses and sparking brand new blackface amps! OMG!!
Too bad Santa Cruz Light Wells wasn't around in those days! In addition to producing The Light Pick line of flashing metronome guitar picks, SCLW is now also producing The Light Wave surfboard.
Surfing-Guitar culture is coming back, and blinking flashing guitar picks and surfboards are just the thing to kick it up another notch and accessorize with that "...itsy bitsy, teeny weeney, yellow polka dot bikini..."!

I spend so much money on crap that I don't really need. That light pick will DEFINITELY join this category. I will be ordering one soon. (It may just drive my dog loopy, though).
Hahaha, well that is just plain awesome. Wonder how much a pick like this would put me back. If it's as durable and trustworthy as my beloved black Jazz III's then I'll definitely buy one.
I suspect that it'd be good to have if you're having an off night on a gig, that way people will be so mesmerized by your pick that they will forgive you for your many mistakes!
